Enterprise D upgrade parts V1 SET, 1/1400 AMT, Round2 Star Trek model kit

These parts are designed to be used with AMT/Round2's 1/1400 scale Enterprise D kit, to bring the model closer to the original 6' filming miniature as it was seen in the TV series and the movie Star Trek: Generations. They are cast in opaque and/or translucent urethane resin (for lighting purposes) and are designed to either totally replace, or be grafted onto, the stock kit parts with minimal difficulty. Some preparation of the parts will be necessary (washing away mould release, trimming excess flash etc) before use. This is the V1 Set which includes the V1 Dorsal replacement part , a one-piece translucent part.

For builders who require more options and control over lighting the main impulse engine e. G separately switched/triggered by a micro-controller etc the V2 Set would be more suitable. The V2 Set includes the V2 Dorsal , which features a separately cast engine insert part, enabling the builder to isolate & "lightblock" the part from the surrounding dorsal part. All other parts are identical in both sets.
