For your consideration is a FINE & VERY RARE example of a 47 YEAR OLD Vintage AMT ORIGINAL ANNUAL Issue. 1968 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS396 "CHEVAM" 1/25 SCALE #5628-200. HERE IS ONE YOU DON'T SEE EVERYDAY!!! Produced this ONE year & never re-issued. This 1968 copywrited model kit was produced by the. AMT Corporation of Troy, MI. After some of the many makeovers & takeovers of the long & storied AMT model company's existence. This kit is an original issue. MOSTLY UNBUILT but 100% COMPLETE AMT MODEL KIT. The photos should tell you the story. This was one of AMT's more Popular Model Kits! Kit features include: White molded plastic parts, Brightly Plated Chrome Parts, Vinyl Rubber Tires with colored wall stripes , Clear Window Glass, Clear Red Tail Lights, Decal Sheet & Instructions Sheet.

The condition of this kit is what I would consider EXCELLENT!! ALL OF THE PARTS APPEAR TO BE PRESENT & ACCOUNTED FOR!!! WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET!! I have included plenty of photos to give everyone an good idea of what we are offering so Please study them before making a decision. The box is VERY square brightly colored for it's age.

This box surprisingly still has the original shrink wrap on the box top. Most All of the parts look to be in great shape. The body, along with the rest of the parts have never been painted & all of the body scripts are intact.

Some of the parts are still attached to the original trees but the loose ones have been placed in ziplock bags. This kit is completely unbuilt except someone attached the front axle pins to the chassis.

Other than that, it is 100% "LIKE NEW" UNBUILT CONDITION!!! The instruction sheet & decals are present & both look to be in good shape. This kit still has the Chevrolet "Youth in Action" booklet included as well. The kit still has a VERY NICE PRESENTATION!! It would build into a great kit or just leave it unbuilt & stow it away with all of the others. OVERALL A VERY NICE & VERY RARE VINTAGE AMT MODEL KIT. Here is a rare chance to score this GREAT AMT kit!!
