AMT 1966 Ford Mustang Mach I 1 Annual Show Car Kit #2148 Unbuilt in Box 68

AMT Mustang Mach I (Concept Car). AMT 1968-issue Ford Mustang "Mach I", original and only issue of this show car kit (it came out with the same style of box art as AMT's'68 annual kits, but does not build a stock'68 Mustang).

I believe the real Mach I debuted as a concept car in 1966. Kit is completely unbuilt with no glue or paint on anything. Kit has been inventoried 100% complete per instruction sheet including all molded-in-red parts, chrome parts (good shine), glass (good clarity with only light scuffing, and no tire burns), and tires. Body looks good with nothing sanded or broken off, and posts intact. Includes instruction sheet (I don't think the kit ever came with decals).

Box is in good original condition with some light cover staining and general shelfwear, but no rips. See my other auctions for more scarce vintage kits.
