AMT 1965 Mustang 2+2 Fastback Shelby Original 3-in-1 Annual Race Kit in Box 65

AMT'65 Mustang 2+2 (Kit # 6155). AMT 1965 Mustang 2+2 fastback with Shelby American road race build option. Original and only AMT issue of this year Mustang fastback. Mostly built as the race version, in box.

Body appears largely unpainted, save for blue in the side coves. It has race front/rear valences and rear quarter window cover panels, oil cooler in front valence, and the race fuel filler. Hood has the Shelby scoop installed. Glass is installed and looks fairly clear.

Wheels are the kit-supplied Americans on the kit's correct Firestone Supreme tires with the blackwall sides pointed out. Rest of car all has paint. Engine is built as the race version with Weber carbs and headers (1 of the header pieces is installed backwards).

Including many new and unused stock and custom pieces. Box is in decent original condition with good colour, but some bowing and 1 split corner.
