AMT 1965 Lincoln Continental HT Hardtop Kit 6425 Box Body & New Cvt Parts 65

AMT'65 Lincoln Continental Hardtop Box & Body. AMT'65 Lincoln Continental Hardtop, original issue annual kit box and painted body, with an unbuilt'65 Continental Convertible reissue in the box as well. The body is spray painted black. It isn't a great job (it's fairly thick) and should be stripped, but the emblems on the roof sail panels and rear quarters are intact and I do not see any other body details missing. The hood has been glued into the body.

The rest of the original issue Hardtop kit is not here, but included in the box is an unbuilt'65 Continental Convertible reissue (molded in grey), including the Convertible body. Its chrome has good shine, and glass is nice and clear. I have inventoried the Convertible kit's stock version with its instruction sheet, and all of the stock pieces are here, so I think everything to build a stock Hardtop using that body should be here save for a rear window, which looks to be flat. There is also a second front bumper/grill included. Including instructions and an uncut decal sheet for the convertible reissue kit. Original hardtop box is in good original condition with some minor general shelfwear. See my other auctions for more scarce vintage kits.
