AMT 1959 Chevy El Camino Shaker Drag Late-'60s Art Box Kit # 2359 Unbuilt 59

AMT'59 Chevy El Camino, late-'60s art box series issue kit with Shaker Engineering drag car on cover, and options to build stock, custom, or race (with choice of W-block Chevy V8 or custom Cadillac V8). Note: The tires are the early-'70s two-piece AMT variety, and the chrome tree's custom wheels are Centerlines as opposed to the five-spokes that the'60s version of the kit would have come with. I think this may mean that the kit's contents are the'70s issue even though it's in the'60s box. Body is nice and straight. Chrome tree has good shine and is still in a factory sealed bag. Glass is nice and clear. Includes instruction sheet, but no decals. Box is in nice original condition with only very minor general shelfwear. See my other auctions for more scarce vintage kits.
