This AMT Buick "Invicta" convertible with ORIGINAL BOX is one of the most iconic 50's cars ever produced. This winged "Invicta" was G. S answer to the sensational Chrysler "Forward Look"'57 cars that turned the auto industry upside down. Prior to this'59 model G. Cars were heavy, stolid "bathtub"-like cars so this one was designed to regain the style leadership that had been G.

S "calling card" for years prior. This car was too extreme for Buick buyers so was a sales flop but this promo should be in every promo collection due to its iconic history, & this beautiful near-mint promo is as good as these are ever found. There are NO scuffs or scratches, the "chrome" is bright & shiny (most of these are very dull from age), there's almost no "warp" most of these resemble bananas they warp so badly!

, & even the ORIGINAL BOX when was the last one of these you saw! Is in surprisingly good condition, especially for now being 59 years old!
