Vintage Amt Mpc 1969 Chevrolet Impala Ss 427 Built Model Car Kit. Needs Engine

This s a vintage built plastic model car kit. It is in 1/25 scale. This was built pretty clean. I got several model cars from this builder years ago. He did not put engines in any models he built and this is one of them.

He would simply tape the hood shut from the inside with masking tape. I have no idea why he did not put engines in but this is the way I received it. The car is built pretty clean. It has some glue excess on the chassis parts as can be seen in the pictures. Some paint over-spray on some areas of the tires that should clean up with a little thinner.

Other than that it is pretty clean. The paint is fair to good.

The chrome is decent with some lighter areas of paint over spray on some of it. Again, this should clean up with a bit of thinner. All glass in the car looks good.

The car appears to be pretty much complete. It may be missing the engine compartment firewall? Look at the pictures as they pretty much show this car as it is.

All in all, this is still a pretty nice example of this long out of production model car. To the best of my knowledge it was never reproduced. Most of our built model cars and unbuilt kits are vintage or older kits.
