Up for sale is this superb VERY RARE example of a 48 YEAR OLD Vintage MPC. 1969 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS427 CONVERTIBLE "OPEN SPORTSTER" 1/25 SCALE KIT#469-300. This 1969 copy write model kit was produced by the. Model Products Corporation of Mount Clemens, MI. Before the many makeovers & takeovers of the long & storied MPC model company's existence.

This kit is an original issue. The photos should tell you the story. This kits Original features included: White molded plastic parts, Brightly Plated Chrome Parts, Vinyl Rubber Tires, Clear Window Glass & Clear Red Tail Lights, Decal Sheet & Instruction Sheet.

This kit is intended to be built just like it shows on the box. The condition of this kit is what I would consider to be EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT!!!

ALL THE PARTS APPEAR TO BE PRESENT & ACCOUNTED FOR BUT WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET! I may have missed something. The tires are the only thing that I can see are missing from this superb model kit. The box is square & very nice with no creases on the front and 3 sides, one side has a slight crease and is still very colourful for it's age. Beautiful box that would be very presentable.

All of the plastic parts are in very nice shape with some of them still attached to their trees. The Instruction sheet is present & in great condition. There is also an original sheet of decals which also appear to be in great condition. The chrome is really Good and all of the parts are still attached to the tree.

The Glass is present but does have a few scratch marks on the bubble glass. This kit would make a great builder!!! You don't find this particular kit available on the market very often!! OVERALL A NICE VINTAGE MPC MODEL KIT.

THESE VINTAGE KITS HAVE BECOME RARE & EVEN MORE POPULAR THAN IN THE PAST. THIS KIT IS A FAVOURITE Amongst Most MPC Modellers!!! It has a lot of potential to either stay an Un-built & kit & keep tucked away or Build it. Don't let it get away!! This MPC kit certainly will increase in value.
