BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL AMT 1962 FORD FAIRLANE 500 2-DOOR SEDAN, TRUE COASTER PROMO

Some very nice original FORD promos tonight. This is a NEAR MINT original AMT 1962 FORD Fairlane 500 two-door sedan promo with opening hood. Much harder to find color. Usually you see these in turquoise. Nothing missing, no damage anywhere. 1962 was the ONLY year a handful of promos were produced with opening hoods.

Items pictured are items you will receive. Very attractive - molded in RED - really shines! Looks about perfect to me!

Opening hood is great - has metal clip for operation, sits a bit off-center but easily adjusted by moving clip a bit. Underside of hood is embossed with: CHALLENGER V-8 145 H. WORLD'S FIRST ECONOMY V-8. Nice red 8-cylinder engine with chrome air cleaner and valve covers - just noticed it is missing the fan. Beautifully painted silver side spears. Vent posts and A and B pillars are perfect. Tips of rear fins are undamaged and straight. All body scripts and details are there. Fender ornaments are complete and nice. Windshield glass (plastic) is clear and clean as is rear glass - about perfect! Front and rear chrome is also really nice. Very bright with very slight edge-wear. Chrome grill between tail lights is NOT WARPED. Complete, very nice matching red interior with silver seat inserts. Complete bright white walls and nice clean wheel covers. Car sits square and rolls freely. These 1962 FORD Fairlanes with opening hoods are hard to find - but in this color they are even harder to find, especially in this collector quality condition.
