Can be built one of 4 ways.
Stock, Customized, Drag or Nascar. This is the ONE & ONLY ISSUE of the 71 Torino Cobra. Kit has a lot of extra parts & special features. This would be an awesome kit to build or collect & they are getting more RARE by the minute. This kit is UNUSED & UNBUILT!
The photos should tell you the story. All parts are present & accounted for. Most parts are still attatched to their trees. The Chrome tree is about as perfect as you will see from a kit of this ERA. None of the parts appear to be bowed or broken.The body looks PERFECT with it's 71 Torino Cobra ONLY markings. Comes complete with box & Instruction sheet. The box is square & still brightly colored after many years of storage.
Has very little amount of shelf wear. This box displays very well.
ONE OF AMT's BETTER BOX ART's is this 71 Cobra in a hard RH tire smoking slide. Even the look on the drivers face says it all!!! Does not say much for his chassis setup or his driving skills, but it looks very Cool!!
The box for this Torino kit had 2 versions. One that just said Torino Cobra on the bottom right & this one that has the looming black "71" in the upper left corner next to the AMT logo. A very fine example of this highly sought after Ford model kit. This particular one is a must have for you HARDCORE SERIOUS PLASTIC MODEL COLLECTORS & BUILDERS OUT THERE.
