AMT 1965 Chrysler Imperial Cvt 3-in-1 Annual Kit # 6815 Stock Built in Box 65

AMT'65 Chrysler Imperial Cvt. AMT'65 Imperial convertible, original issue 3-in-1 annual. Builtup in partial original box.

Kit is fairly well built for its time; main body is spray-painted (some minor orange peel and wear), body trim is handpainted silver (no details have been sanded away; all are intact) save for some early chrome foil on the long upper fender trims (it is lifting). Windshield is in good condition as is the windshield frame / sunvisors. Chrome has decent appearance (and front grille has had its openings nicely blacked out), with 1965-dated bumpers. Convertible top boot is included, but not glued on (it looks like it never was glued on; there is no residue on the body). Interior is painted red, and is stock with lap belts.

The engine has its stock 2x4-barrel carbs, with decent quality period detail painting and spark plug wires underhood. Wheels are stock hubcaps, with whitewall tires. There is no instruction sheet or additional parts included. Box is in very rough condition; both ends are completely cut off, and not included. See my other auctions for more scarce vintage kits.
