AMT 1965 Chrysler Imperial Convertible Original 3-in-1 Annual Kit in Box 65

AMT'65 Imperial Cvt (Kit # 6815). AMT 1965 Chrysler Imperial convertible. Original AMT issue of this year Imperial. Mostly stock builtup, in box. The car is only loosely together, with the body and chassis being held together by the rear screws only.

It may have been glued at one time, but if so the glue has since let go. Body has been nicely spray painted gold, albeit slightly thickly (door handles and front fender lower emblems are still visible). The windshield trim and some body trim has been painted silver.

Interior is nicely built stock with'60s painted-on dash detail. Engine is basically stock, but has cross-rams installed (I doubt that would have been available on the Imperial).

Front bumper has headlight covers installed, and rear has the tail lights. Includes fenderskirts (painted in a contrasting brown), some unused custom pieces, and a few driver figure parts. Wheelcovers are stock, as are the kit-supplied whitewall Firestone Supreme tires. Box is in good original condition with nice color and no splits. There is some tape on one end.
