AMT 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint HT Annual Kit # 5124 Rally Race Built & Box 64

AMT'64 Ford Falcon Sprint HT. AMT'64 Falcon Sprint hardtop, original issue 3-in-1 annual. Builtup as the kit's race option shown on the cover of the box, a Monte Carlo rally car. Comes in original art box.

Kit is fairly well built for its time; main body is unpainted (molded in white), body trim is handpainted silver (no details have been sanded away; all are intact), glass is in good condition, chrome has decent appearance (and front grille has had its openings nicely blacked out). I think the door number decals were kit-supplied, and they seem to be holding up well. Kit has had several rally lights installed (including one on the roof). A couple of them have fallen off and are shown loose in the photos (they are included). Also installed is a rear tow bracket (its front tow bracket has fallen off, but is included). A skid plate has been installed under the engine compartment. Interior is painted blue, and has a stock dash (with some added gauges).

The driver's seat is a race seat (it has come loose). There is a stock passenger seat installed, as well as a roll bar.

The engine is basically stock-looking with decent quality period detail painting and spark plug wires underhood. Wheels are steel, with stock whitewall tires (they are somewhat misaligned). There are no additional parts included. Box is in decent original condition; it has very little shelfwear and would be excellent, save for some black marker on the cover that detracts from its condition a fair bit.
