AMT 1963 Mercury Monterey S55 Convertible 3-in-1 Annual Cvt Kit in Box 63

AMT'63 Mercury Convertible (Kit # 06-313). AMT 1963 Mercury Monterey S-55 Convertible. Original and only AMT issue of this year Mercury convertible. Most of the kit's parts are NOS. Nothing has been glued, and the only paint is on the custom half tonneau cover.

However, the body has had the trunklid neatly cut out to start the process of building the kit with an opening trunk. The trunklid fits well and its emblem is intact. Also, a couple of small aerial holes have been drilled, and the stock rear bumper's mounting tab has been cut back to facilitate the opening trunk.

I have done a part-for-part inventory with the instruction sheet, and the stock version is 100% complete. Box is in fair original condition with some general shelfwear, age spotting, and one split corner. Includes instructions and decal sheet (a few decals are cut out), as well as the whitewall stickers and their own instruction sheet. See my other auctions for more scarce'60s-'70s annuals.
