This sensational VERY rare "Ermine White/Silver Blue Metallic" Impala 2-toned TRUE promo was made by AMT as a "test shot", the term used for pre-production promo cars which were used (by AMT in this case) by all promo manufacturers to show the auto manufacturers options for the year's upcoming promo colors prior to actual production, & it's still almost flawless 53 years later! For actual production'64 Impala promo hardtops were made only in single colors, "Satin Silver" metallic or "Silver Blue" metallic so this one is a real collector's gem since it's one of only the very very few 2-toned cars which were produced. This beautiful car would be 100% mint but for one very small very hard-to-see scratch on the hood (pls see photo w/pen pointing this out but it just barely can be seen in the close-up). Although this doesn't show except right up close "in person", we always strive to be 100% honest about everything we sell since we're collectors, not "dealers" & always want to treat other collectors the way we want to be treated! Otherwise this gorgeous promo has 100% beautiful scratch-free finish that shines like new, bright shiny "chrome" most are quite dull, especially after 53 years! , so this one is otherwise as nice as these ever get!
